South Adams celebrates Class of 2016

The sun was shining, the rain clouds had dispersed, and the sky was a clear blue culminating in a perfect day as South Adams Schools celebrated the graduation of its 73 seniors on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Superintendent Scott Litwiller started the 49th annual commencement by honoring the men and women in the military who gave their lives and by thanking those who are currently serving their country. He also reminded the students that graduation is a gift provided to them not only by those who have given their lives on the battlefield but also by their teachers and parents.
