Robert E. Wolford

Robert E. Wolford, 77, of Geneva passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. He was born in Fort Wayne.
He was an Army veteran and a captain with the Fort Wayne Fire Department. He was a member of West Missionary Church in Berne. He enjoyed playing pool at the Berne Senior Center and was an avid woodworker. He is survived by his wife, Janice Dausch Wolford; three daughters, Janet Wolford of Fort Wayne; Dawn (Geoff) Waldau of Lithia, Florida; and Victoria (Doug) Wolford Osborne of Noblesville; step-daughter, Angie (Jeffrey) Miller of Ossian; step-son, Michael Dausch of Bluffton; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ina Wolford; and brothers, Herbert and James Wolford.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 29 and one hour prior to the 10:00 a.m. funeral service on Monday, January 30 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Burial will take place at Covington Memorial Gardens.
