Vera L. Balsiger
Vera L. Balsiger, 72, of Berne passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at her home. She was born on May 18, 1939 in Adams County to Harve and Fannie (Moser) Neuenschwander. She was married on July 28, 1957 to George Balsiger.
She was a former employee of Economy Printing, Serv-Us-Store, and the IGA store, all of Berne. Her special interests included sewing, gardening, and shelling. She had a special love for her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Tamra S. Liechty; and Teri (Shawn) Walsh, both of Berne; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Hazel Delaney
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 28 at the Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home in Berne and one hour prior to the 2:00 p.m. funeral service on Sunday, January 29 at the West Missionary Church in Berne. Burial will take place at the MRE Cemetery in Berne.
